The €100k Ping That Changed My Summer

Last Friday, I collapsed on the couch after another marathon of mothering, client wrangling, and surviving this heatwave. Coffee in hand, cat purring nearby (a rare daytime cuddle), and one peaceful moment before Olivia Rodrigo night with my daughter.

Ping.

Ping. Ping.

WhatsApp lit up.

“Hey Claudia, do you have a moment?”

And just like that, my summer sprint started early.

An old client—who I thought was on sabbatical—was launching something new. No RFP. No shortlist. He wanted me. He needed a budget.

This is how 80% of my high-ticket consulting work begins.

Not through funnels. Not through pitch decks.

Just a simple text.

“Do you have a moment?”

Here’s the kicker: this client has paid me six figures over the years.

If you’re still grinding to “find” clients, you might be ignoring the ones already watching.

“You were always straight with us. You told it exactly like it is,” he said.

Later that week, I was on a call with a brilliant woman I’ve admired for months. Never pitched to her. But we’d crossed paths countless times.

She applied to work with me – and we’re now working together.

This is your reminder: how you show up always matters. People are watching- – quietly, consistently.

And yes, let me say it loud: your next client is already in your network.

Give your clients a f*ck-off experience they remember – and they’ll do your marketing for you.

Quote of the Week

“A satisfied customer is the best business strategy of all.”

Michael LeBoeuf

The Invisible Goldmine of Repeat Clients

You know that old line, “If you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you’re with”?

Well, let’s apply it to clients.

You don’t need a massive audience.

You need consistency, delivery, and a memorable-as-hell client experience.

Research backs this up:

  • 65% of business comes from existing customers (Harvard Business Review)
  • It costs 5x more to attract a new client than to retain an existing one (Invesp)

Still tempted to spend the summer rebranding your Canva templates?

Picture this:

You’re polishing your lead magnet.

Meanwhile, your old boss is stuck in a budget meeting thinking, “What ever happened to [insert your name]?”

This is the power of your reputation and brand. People will always remember remarkable service.

So, is summer a bad time to grow your business?

Hell no.

It’s the best time.

Let everyone else get distracted with the sun.

While they drift in holiday-mode haze, you get space: To reconnect, reignite and remind.

High-ticket consulting and coaching offers aren’t born from a frenzy. They’re born in the quiet, when you can hear your own strategy.

Come September (aka La Rentree), you’ll be ready to sprint.

OWN IT

Some of your most profitable clients don’t even know you’re available.

They’re not mind-readers.

You never told them.

They’re swamped, just like you – juggling teams, teens, and to-do lists.

Your job isn’t to “sell.”

It’s to signal you’re back and ready to do your thing.

You could batch reels this summer.

Or you could send one brave message to someone who already trusts you.

Summer business planning doesn’t need a whiteboard. Just courage, a contacts list, and maybe an iced coffee.

Let’s go.

This Week’s Action Plan

✅ Book A Free Strategy Call: Join the Summer Sprint → see Spotlight Offer above

✅ Visibility: Book a coffee with a past client—make it al fresco

✅ Pipeline: List 10 warm leads and send 3 check-in messages

✅ Mindset: Journal: “Who already knows, likes, and trusts me? Do they know I’m available?”

Less hustle, more leverage—and coffee. Iced or hot, but always coffee.
